I'm not a student, what can I do to help?
Like students, community members have many levels of involvement. designBridge is thankful for all contributions alumni, professionals, parents and friends make to help keep it going. If you like what dB does here are some ways that you can support us.
PROFESSIONALS & COMPANIES:
DONATE time, resources, knowledge, or some extra change to help designBridge run in the day-to-day, any bit helps.
MENTOR a project team. Teams need design, construction, engineering and materials expertise at all stages of the design process. You can decide how much time to commit, but often it's not much more than a one hour meeting and a couple of emails over the course of the year.
GET DIRTY! If you are a concrete expert or an electrician or a willing to donate your time to teach a course about rammed earth we'd love for you to come out on site and share your skills and knowledge with us.
ALUMNI/PARENTS/FRIENDS:
BUILD with us during the spring. Email dbridge@uoregon.edu for more info!
CONNECT designBridge with professional resources. Know a contractor, accountant, artist, electrician, or progressive product designer? dB students would love to meet them!
WRITE A CHECK. designBridge is funded through the writing of grants and the generous donations of alumni, parents and professionals, these help support operations and offer scholarships to valuable student leaders who volunteer with the organization each year.
